MICROWAVE IN THE BEDROOM???

Well since my last post was Nov. 6th, I figured it was time to add another. My mother is the biggest fan of my corn bags. She lives in Montana and everyone knows it can get downright bone chilling bitter at night there. She also sleeps with multiple corn bags for that exact reason! As most of us do, she gets up at least once during the night and then has trouble falling back to sleep. She decided that since they had an extra microwave in the workshop, she was going to bring it into the bedroom. When she gets up in the middle of the night she pops the corn bags into the microwave and several minutes later she is back in bed dosing off quickly with the warmth of the corn bags next to her. She swears they work better than a sleep aid! So, a microwave in the bedroom...not a bad idea! Corn bags as a sleep aid..possibly!

An excellent idea! I too have a microwave in the bedroom, to heat my gel-filled warmer for bed. It doesn't stay hot for as long as a traditional hot-water bottle, but if I wake up and it's cooled down a bit I can just pop it in the microwave for a minute or two and it's lovely and hot again. I don't have to get out of bed as the microwave is right next to me in the bottom part of my bedside cabinet.
